Cheap, if not FREE Purina pet food offer...

Below is a link to a post on my blog on how to get cheap, if not FREE Purina pet food at Meijer.

http://removed/2009/07/cheap-if-not-free-purina-pet-fo...

I will let you know how much it actually cost once I get back from Meijer, but $5.00 Meijer coupon with a $3.50 manufacturer coupon - equals $8.50 savings on a bag of pet food, it has to be cheap! I'd hope, the min. is a 3.3 lb. bag of Purina - which isn't much, so we shall see!

If you don't have pets, you could always print up the coupons and donate the food to an animal shelter, just think of all the cats and dogs that would thank you if they could!

ooops, PLD

in the fine print it does say: "Not to be combined with other discount coupons. One Coupon Per Transaction"
Please let us know if you were able to stack with a mfg coupon and if so, at which Meijer store!! I know the animal shelters would really appreciate this donation. TIA

I'll let you know tonight...

I am planning on going over there tonight, I will post my findings. As far as I know you can always combine a Store coupon with a Manufacturer coupon, but we shall see....stay posted!

It worked...

It worked w/overage, BONUS!

I ended up doing 2 transactions. The 1st, I bought 11 Bounty using coupons saving $2.50 off $10.00 and then the Purina One - $7.59, coupons valued at $3.50 and $5.00 = $8.50. OOP $2.54, thanks to the small overage on the Purina!

2nd transaction - cheap liter @ 2.09, plus Purina One cat $7.59 - less $8.50 from Purina coupons = OOP $1.57!

Not Bad!!!! I have two more coupon sets to use at a later date since the coupons are good for a few months!

still a great deal...

My dog eats Purina One senior formula, at over $10 for a small bag, this is a deal compared to my $3 qs.

I'll be keeping an eye out for a sale!
