Suprise 10% all grocery purchases at Dominicks

Got an interesting flyer in the mail today. I was excited about it until I saw it was atually addressed to our nanny who lived in our house years ago. It said you will get 10% off all your purchases now through 8/6 using your preferred card. I called our local store and they said they send the cards out to people who don't shop a lot. The store said to ask if you could borrow their preferred card! It sure is tempting since I still talk to her!

I had that on my card last month too! It ran through 7/2. A very nice (and as you said, unexpected) bonus.
Note that if she used your phone number to sign up for her card, you won't necessarily need her card to use the discount - you can give them the phone number when you check out instead of scanning the card, and if that number is right, you'll get the 10% that way too.
Buy something small to "test" it - you never know :)
