Rolling Jewel Cats

I still am not sure about rolling Cats at Jewel. Does it work or is it like Walgreens when they cancel each other out if you use them on the same stuff. For example can I get $15 cats from this $15/$30 deal and use it to buy more from the same $15/$30 ad?

like Wags has with the same Register Rewards deal cancelling the next identical one out if using it to pay. There is a close cousin though.
If your Cat doesn't scan at Jewel and the cashier enters it as GROCERY, that can mess up your next Cat printing if it takes your purchase amount below the minimum pricing needed. Make sure your Cat scans correctly. If it won't scan ask the cashier to enter it as coupon, NOT as Grocery. Or just take the Cat back for a later use. If you have another Cat that scans, ask them to scan it but to give it back to you and take the non-scanning one as payment.
P.S. if the target pricing is $30 in qualifying items to get a Cat and you have $50 in items (at least $30 of those qualifying items), you'll still get your Cat even if the cashier enters the $15 Cat as Grocery since the total would still show as $35.

Thank you for the explanation. I did have a Cat entered as grocery because it wouldn't scan but I had so much other stuff it didn't effect the total like you said.

Yes, you can roll the catalinas from this sale and turn around and purchase the identical items and use the cats from the first transaction and receive another $15 in cats. At Walgreens, you can not roll your catalinas for the same items (or from the same parent company) because it cancels it out.
