Jewel Ad

A friend told me today that the Jewel ad comes in her Tuesday mail! There is a Jewel less than a mile from her house.....wonder why some get the ad in the mail and others (like me) don't!?

because we do not order a Tribune paper (or NW Herald in our area). The flyer is through Redplum under the Daily Herald and Tribu Local Values mailing insert. The number shown on the flyer that you can call is (800) 998-2339.

Dad

My Dad gets it in his Tuesday mail too - but its a wierd one. He lives in Oakbrook Terrace and gets a Jewel ad that states "good at these specific stores" and lists a bunch of cook county towns - Melrose Park, Oak Park, etc. No stores listed are stores he'd consider going to - too far away! He also gets an ad every week for Tony's (in Melrose Park). Wierd . . .

I used to get all the ads in Tuesday's mail until I started getting the Wed. Tribune delivered.

Red Plum mail delivery

My mailman says that everyone on his route gets the Red Plum flyer, not limited to those getting or not getting the Trib on Wed. In fact, I get both the flyer on Tuesday and the Wed Trib. It depends on your geographic proximity to the various stores included in the flyer, whether Red Plum considers you worthy (I checked with the postmaster months ago when the flyers stopped coming.)

Osco items

Noticed there a few items in that ad that aren't on the spreadsheet such as the Dial/Caress soap. They don't look like a great deal though and I believe Osco items most of time with these Cat deals only go off of preferred pricing so no black belt spread to assist on these.

wow can't believe the sale

wow can't believe the sale price for the brownies is $1.99....doesn't seem like much of a sale especially compared to a few weeks ago at $1 each.
bummer was hoping to buy lots of brownies to go into the thanksgiving boxes that our food pantry will be preparing.

Supreme Brownie Mix

This Sales Brownie mixies are the Supreme Hershey mixes, Walnut, Turtle, etc... No Scotts at our store, lots of other items that worked well for the 30/15. Lipton soup mix, .99....scans for 1.99....16 of em costs 16.00, get 15 back...net cost for 16 boxes....$1.00 The scanner at the store was out,, so it was a bit scary, and being 2 days before the sale is to start. still worked perfect....Thank You all !!!
