Chicago Trib subscription/$25 Target gift card

I received my Chicago Tribune bill and they have raised the stakes by $5 bucks. If you sign up for easy pay you can get a $25.00 gift card for Target. I have passed on this before when the offers were $10 and $20 but for $25.00 I figure why not! Xmas is coming so. $25.00 for a .50 a week subscription...they got me pulled in today. It does say that you can get one gift card per paid subscription, so if you get multiple papers delivered, this could give you a few extra $'s for the holiday shopping. The phone number is 1 800 874 2863 offer code is 59.

Tried calling the Tib 3 times to get different operators ... they all said that code was dead, and definitely not good in Palatine. using that code, they could offer $.99/week, 52-week committment (locks in that rate), NO target gift card. Also spoke to customer service 2ce to ask about the code - the 2 different reps said that there is no "code 59" - that all their offer codes are 4 digits.
Bummer - would've LOVED the $.50 and $25 gift card ;-). Oh well. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be closer to the city!!

I just called (because it wasn't working online) and gave them the operator 59 code. Said it was for a gift for my parents. Got Sunday's for .50 and $25 coming (have to do easy pay to get). Thanks for posting!
